STIHL HTA 86 Battery Telescopic Pole Pruner – AP System, Up to 390 cm

The STIHL HTA 86 is a battery telescopic pole pruner for maintaining medium-height trees, used by landscape professionals, forestry and municipal crews as well as homeowners. With a total length of up to 390 cm, it reaches branches at close to 5 m.

Rigid telescopic shaft

The square telescopic shaft extends by up to 120 cm with a twist-secured clamping sleeve, without tools. It stays rigid against twisting and bending.

Quiet, consistent power

An EC brushless motor paired with a STIHL AP System battery provides steady performance. It runs quietly enough for residential areas, and the 1/4" PM3 chain makes clean, precise cuts.

Built for all conditions

The AP System is designed for daily professional use and is certified splash-proof (aligned with IPX4). The ergonomic handle with self-resetting lock switch suits left- and right-handed users, and an anti-slip handlebar helps in wet weather.
