STIHL BT 45 Gas Wood Boring Drill – 27.2cc, Two-Speed with Reverse

The STIHL BT 45 is a lightweight, gas-powered wood boring drill that goes where power cords cannot. It is used for building and repairing docks, bulkheads, fences, retaining walls and other wooden structures, as well as by pest control and tree service professionals.

Two speeds plus reverse

The two-speed gearbox includes a neutral position and a reverse gear to back out jammed bits.

Easy to start and handle

A primer bulb and throttle lock simplify starting, and a quick-release keyless chuck accepts a wide range of bit sizes. The compact, balanced design and anti-vibration system reduce fatigue.

More than wood

With the optional core drill adapter and suitable bits, the BT 45 can drill concrete holes up to about 150 mm in diameter.
